Palayathu Amman: A Tamil Fantasy Film About a Reincarnated Goddess

Lakshmi becomes pregnant and gives birth to a baby girl who is the reincarnation of Devi. The baby exhibits supernatural powers and performs miracles. She also has a mole on her forehead that resembles the goddess's third eye.
Rajasekhar learns about the baby's existence and plots to kill her. He hires a witch named Maya (Meena) to perform black magic on the baby. However, Maya turns out to be another incarnation of Devi who has come to assist the baby. She foils Rajasekhar's attempts and exposes his evil deeds. She also reveals her true identity to Raja and Lakshmi and tells them that their baby is Devi's avatar.
Rajasekhar kidnaps the baby and takes her to his factory. He tries to sacrifice her to a demon, but Maya arrives and rescues her. She confronts Rajasekhar and his goons and unleashes her wrath on them. She destroys the factory and kills Rajasekhar and his accomplices. She then returns the baby to Raja and Lakshmi and blesses them. She also restores the temple and reunites with the villagers. The film ends with Maya merging with the baby and becoming one with Devi.
