Scenes From Saturday Night- Remembering a time

Not to long ago, the world seemed like a simpler place with the freedom we once had to share a meal with total strangers in hopes of developing new relationships. Now, in light of this Covid-19 virus that is no longer a "Safe Option". The thought of sitting at a table with people I don't know, almost makes we cringe. The thought that someone eating at my table could possibly be carrying something that could potentially kill me is an uneasy picture in my mind. Its sad that one of the things I LOVE to do, can now be something that could cost me more then the bill. So, how now are we suppose to create the bonds that once was a little easier to develop; simply by sitting at a table together eating a meal and sharing laughs?

I can only say that facing a " NEW NORMAL" is something I am both nervous and somewhat excited to deal with. Why I say, "excited" you ask? Well, any time there is something new happening there is some form of natural excitement that take place. Rather its panic or motivation to get through it, we all are facing the challenge of adapting our lives to this invisible threat that seems to manifesting in the lives of its host and those who are trying not to become one. Now, we are forced to think outside the box at every turn. We are becoming more creative and innovative. Our skills to problem solve is bubbling to the surface as we hop in the lean a hand to help someone or begin a new business or project. My scenes from the Saturday nights of old, will now be more creative and innovative as I will create new ways to bond with those I love in a safe and healthy way as we move into the next stages of life here on this wonderful planet earth.
